Dai Wangshu, as the leader of 1930s'Chinese modern poetry, his poems impacted the development of Chinese modern poetry importantly, his representative poem "The Rain Alley", "My memory" has been highly acclaimed at that time. Dai's poetry was considerd compatible unique charm with Chinese and Western style, and that's because he created poems and translated western poems at the same time.The relationship between Dai wangshu's poetry and the West poetry, advanced researchers mostly reaserching from the macroscopic perspective to explore Dai's poetry of learn from the Modern Poetry in the West (such as the French Symbolist poetry, Poetry of Futurism, Surrealism Poetry, etc.);And less directly reaserch from the text to analyze the specific Dai Poetry and Western poetry relationship. Dai wangshu, as a poet and poetry translator,she effect of his own selection showed little in the previous study. Through this paper, writer tries to analyze from these aspects.There is a interpretive connection between Dai Wangshu's poems and his translation poems, which is a noteworthy phenomenon, and the systematic and through research haven' t been done yet. Therefore, this thesis, from the perspective of intertextuality, enter Dai Wangshu's own poems and his translations of Western poems into study, through four chapters, from the text level, the poet's subjectivity level and the cultural levels to developing a comprehensive analysis and research.Firstly, in the text level, by analyzes the poetic images, poetry emotion, poetry theme and poetry structures with examples, to show intertextuality in Dai's poetry, and the interpret phenomenon between his own poems and his translation poems(including synchronous and complementarity);Secondly, in the main part level, analyzes the reason of intertextuality phenomenon between Dai's poetry and his translated works,highlighting its selective role of the poet, the reader and the translater. On this basis, the thesis span to the cultural significance level, rediscover the cultural meaning of Daiwangshu's poetry in a wider language situation from the Chinese and Western culture background.Through this micro and macro analysis and research, comparison and combination, I hope to better understand and grasp the situation of Dai's poetry creation.
