Investigation Of The Relationship Between The Trend Of Psychological Characteristic Of Recruits And Economic Factors

While the rapid development of economic and society, and blending of multiculture, changes occurred in life style, educational mode and family structure. The prompt varying of acquired environment has deeply affected the characteristic of juvenile, and unbalanced social developmental model differentiate the characteristic of teenagers from different places. The target of recruitment is among the young people, so the changing of psychological characteristic caused by economic and society factors affected the attitude of young ages to the joining the army. Enrollment, from teenagers, is one of important measures to enhance national defense capability, and it makes the changing of the characteristic of source of recruits has a great influence on the enrollment. Now days, many nations meet difficulties in enrollment as a result of rapid development of economic, fast-changing of society, complicated situation of international environment and activated mind of youth. The study of the trend of psychological characteristic of candidates for military could provide instructive opinions on the enrollment of army. This article adopted cluster random sampling method, and selected 14 650 recruits from six district of Sichuan province from 2008 to 2010 as the studying object, which were all psychological evaluated by 2008-2010 Psychological Testing Recruitment System. SPSS16.0 was used to analysis the result to discuss the differences and changes of percentage of pass of psychological characteristic of teen group from different district to investigate the difference of psychological characteristic of young people from different district and the trend of the percentage of pass of the psychological characteristic of young people from the same area. In the test 2, the effect of society on the changing of enrolled young peoples was further discussed. Testing result of 25 466 recruits from Sichuan province in 2008 and 2009 were used as cluster sampling group. The correlation and regression method were used to analysis the society factors on the psychological characteristic of enrolled young people.Conclusions were made:1. No evident different testing result of mental characteristic existed between the enrolled young people from six different districts except the percentage of pass of neurotic trait.2. The percentage of pass of different mental characteristic degrees of enrolled young people from same places kept stable or increasing in the years which were studied.3. The quality of enrolled young-ages and attitude to enrollment of young people were influenced by the increment of economic and wave of employment, which make the percentage of pass changed accordingly.
