Intangible cultural heritage is the unique cultural phenomenon, it is the precious memories about the traditional culture, a spiritual home of human, and it is a process of inheritance. Rescuing and protecting the intangible cultural heritage is beneficial to show the diversity about the culture of the world, it also can reflect the respect of human creativity, close the relationships between the people and ensure the sustainable development about the human society. Based on the fieldwork and literature, through analyzing the content about the"CuoTaiji"of Yi in Weining county, the article comprehensively discusses the valve about it. Finally, the article investigates the relationships about the protection, inheritance and development of the"CuoTaiji". The article has five parts with about fifty thousand words.The first part introduces the concept, characteristics and the valve about the intangible cultural heritage, while it analyzes the dilemma of the Intangible cultural heritage in the modern society. These theories which are selected from the professional materials of school, have the wide recognition; The second part explains the background of the"CuoTaiji", it includes the natural environment and the cultural environment; The third part is about depiction of the"CuoTaiji"based on the first-hand information in fieldwork and related materials; The fourth part compares the"CuoTaiji"with the other Nuo opera, and analyzes its unique historica valve, cultural value, spiritual value, scientific value, aesthetic value and the value of social harmony; The fifth part interprets some effective measures and development proposal on the basis of discussing the dilemma about protection.Through demonstrating and analysing the article, I hope that it can generalize some theoretical measures with the characteristics of the Guizhou province, which can easily operate, so as to provide some feasible suggestions to the protecting work about the intangible cultural heritage.
