Chen xianzhang is a known as one of the representative figures of Neo-Confucianism in Ming Dynasty, of whom a collection called"Chen Baisha set"and over two thousand poems have handed down to prosperity. Chen fused Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism to form a new school full of philosophy mind in which he stressed knowledge comes from nature and peace, which is known as Neo-Confucianism, and because of his unique, innovative thoughts he became the key figure during the transition in the history of Chinese philosophy. Besides, His literary thought and poetry creation in the early Ming Dynasty poetry is also unique. Chen emphasized emotions and formed a pure natural poem style filled with self-satisfaction. The formation of his poem style comes both from the basis of previous achievements in literature, and from the inner self-reflection. It is thought he was under the influence of Mind product. In studying Tao Qian's poems, Chen not only realized the mood and the essence of Tao, but also came to Tao Qian in the ideological soul and reached a resonance. He also learned spirit of seeking fun in Shao Yong's "Jirang set"out of the quotation style of Shao's. As a result, Chen Xianzhang formed a natural plain aesthetic level in the premise that nature was the noumenon of literature. He can fuse the advantages of the two while containing more individual satisfaction and enjoyment of life compared to Tao, even more joy of living harmoniously with nature compared to Shao.Chen Xianzhang contributed not only quite widely to philosophy; his unique poem style also gave significant impetus to the development of the poetry in Ming dynasty. He opened up the spiritual literature of the late Ming and was considered as the pioneer of the Literature Liberation in Ming Dynasty. In spite of hardships, he finally gained great achievements. Although many people realized the significance of his poetry, Chen's literature achievement was almost submerged by his philosophical achievements.This paper is based on Chen's Mind of Philosophy and poetic creation, with more exploration of his achievements and deeper study on the former's impact on the later. The paper consists of six sections: Introduction, overview of the significance of the topic and recent academic study on the relationship between Confucianism and literature, the Review of Chen Xianzhang literary history and current situation. The first chapter introduces the life-time traces of Chen Xianzhang, in which talks about his friends classified by literature, Neo-Confucianism, Lingnan bureaucrats and teachers and disciples to discuss four aspects of his social interaction activities, adding an analysis of the influence of Friendship on his literary life. The second chapter generally explains Chen's philosophy ideas, following his conception of literature, literary ontology, aesthetic realm and his emphasizing human subjectivity to explore his literary thoughts. The third chapter discusses the ideology content and topics from the perspective of Neo-Confucianism. Chapter four elaborates the plain, natural poetry style which reflects Chen's temperament and the surging talent in the artistic expression. The last part summarized the significance of"Chenzhuang"style in Literature History.
