Object to evaluate the and Coping Styles of pupils, and the relationship between them.Two questionnaires,included Simplified Coping Style Questionnaires and Social Anxiety Scale for Children,are used to study 300 students who are in grade four,five or six in the Mountain Tai primary school which is in Changzhou.From the study,the reseacher indicates the following conclusions:(1) Overally, pupils have no Social Anxiety.On social anxiety,there is significant difference between the sixth graders and the fourth,fifth graders,but there is no significant difference neither on the genders,nor the one-child or not;(2) There is no significant difference on negative coping styles between girls and boys. Significant difference is showed between genders on positive coping styles.(3) Lower positive coping styles and Higher negative coping styles are significantly different from higher positive coping styles higher negative coping styles, higher positive coping styles lower negative coping styles and lower positive coping styles lower negative coping styles.There is no significant different between others;(4) Higher social anxiety group of students are significantly different from lower social anxiety group of students on positive coping style, but the remarkable difference is showed on negative coping styles;Social anxiety is in significant and positive correlation with positive coping styles,and in significant and negative correlation with negative coping styles.(5) With social anxiety as dependent variable, positive coping styles and negative coping styles for prediction variables, the regression equation of the positive coping styles of regression coefficients and negative coping styles of regression coefficients have reached the level of significance. Use the positive coping styles and negative coping styles as independent variables to predict social anxiety that can explain changes 12.7%, which shows coping styles directly affect social anxiety.
