In Chinese education system, higher vocational education is an important part of the higher education system. The research on psychology of higher vocational college students is still lacking.College level education is acceptable for the students in higher vocational colleges. Higher vocational students’ grades are generally lower and their quality are uneven. Their individual behavior characteristics, psychological intention and learning attitude have obvious different from the university students after the entrance. We want to study the relationship among social anxiety, coping style and subjective well being of higher vocational students. In the process of the study, three vocational colleges in Shijiazhuang were selected, and 400 students were selected by cluster sampling. The questionnaire survey was used to get the demographic data(gender, family location, grade, etc.). In the study, Interaction anxiousness scale, simple coping style scale and life satisfaction scale were used to measure their social anxiety, coping style and subjective well-being. Finally, the conclusion is obtained by statistical analysis of SSPS22.0 software.Conclusion of the institute:(1) There are significant differences in the positive coping style of higher vocational students with different gender. Girls in the use of positive coping style is significantly higher than boys(P < 0.05).(2) There is a significant difference in subjective well-being among different gender of Higher Vocational Students. The subjective well-being of girls is significantly higher than boys(P < 0.01).(3) Higher vocational students’ social anxiety and subjective well-being were significantly negatively correlated. Positive coping and negative coping were significantly negatively correlated. Positive coping and subjective well-being have a significant positive correlation.(4) Higher vocational students’ positive coping and social anxiety had significant predictive effect on subjective well-being. Higher vocational students’ positive coping had positive effect on subjective well being, social anxiety had negative effect to subjective well being. With the increase of social anxiety, the subjective well being is a downward trend. With the increase of positive coping style, subjective well-being showed an increasing trend.
