Currently, about the grammaticalization from the verb to the preposition, linguists pay more attention to those high degree prepositions, but less to the un-completed grammaticalization ones. For examples, Lan(拦), Dai(逮), Tuo(托).The First, more deep definitions were made about verb and preposition based on meaning, syntax, and usage.The Second, according to the definitions, the thesis defined 18 verbs that are in the process of grammarticalization. They are Zhao(找), Wen(问), Tie(贴), Lan(拦), Dai(逮), Tuo(托), Ai(挨), Ge(搁), Fang(放), Pi(劈), Pu(扑), Tui(推), Jiang(讲), Zou(走), Chao(抄), Kan(看), Yu(遇), Jian(见). This part analyzed their features of grammarticalization for each verb. The third, talking about the factors of grammarticalization. The following aspects are included: rhythm, the verb's abilities of taking objects, meaning, the identical meaning of V1 and V2, the restriction effect for each other between V1 and V2, the restriction of V2, the influence of S, and the factor of language usage and cognition.The fourth, discussing the meaning mechanism about whether the verbs can occur grammarticalization and what are the results.The fifth, talking about the language usage mechanism. The usage renewal is the basic reason causing the grammarticalization.
