Study Li Tie-fu's Life Story And The Art Of The Watercolor

Mr. Li Tiefu, as a revolutionary artist, was a legend on Chinese modern and contemporary art history, he had a lot of talent in poetry, calligraphy, paintings, watercolor, and Chinese paintings.However, he was in an embarrassing position in the whole of Chinese modern and contemporary art history because of historical reasons and his own personality factor, after his death or even during his lifetime he had already faded out of the line of sight of people and been almost forgotten. Today, we study that how did Mr. Li Tiefu grow up as a master of Chinese art master in his time, what heritage did he left for us, and what we should carry on from him and so on.We have to answer these questions. That is the reason why I prepare this paper"The Study of Mr. Li Tiefu Life Story and Watercolor". The main contents of this paper are listed as follows: at first, to study the acquired element of Mr. Li Tirfu in different periods based on his own individuality, namely congenital factors, through his whole life, and further demonstrate how did these two factors impact him and his art, including why he got brilliant achievement while he was abroad, but why he had been forgotten after back, and the development of Nationalization of Watercolor.Secondly, to analyze different styles of Mr. Litie Fu's watercolor and to study the process of sinicization of western watercolor under his efforts. Mr. Li Tiefu's outstanding achievement should be respected and learned by all of us today. We should learn from his spirits such as hard working, persistence, preciseness, selflessness and innovative spirit. All of above spirits are preconditions for an artist to be succeeded. At present the study of Mr. Li Tiefu is too limited, so we should continue working to dig his dedication in art field to inspire future generations. There is one thing about Mr. Li Tiefu which needs us or even the country to do it, this is about protection of Mr. Li Tiefu's works, which have been damaged seriously and need to be repaired urgently. This is our responsibility to protect such a master's works from damage. Therefore I call upon relevant departments and Chinese artists work together to protect these priceless treasures left by Mr. Li Tiefu and give our future generation an opportunity to review art history.
