Then devote to find the source of Berlin's Two Concepts of Liberty and the realityfactor influence this theory. In the first place, judge what the core issue Berlin express on,in the next place, analysis the influence brought by the theory evidence andpersonal-related factor. At last, starts from Berlin's Paradox of Positive Liberty, combinewith many theorists' research results, to oppugn the distinction, and find out thelimitations and deficiencies, based on MacCallum's Triadic Relation advance a reasonablemode of thinking in how to comprehend the concept of liberty exactly.This dissertation considers, Berlin's Two Concept of Liberty is a epoch-making blueprint of the whole western academic interests in freedom problem, but as times goes on, itsdrawbacks and redundancies emerge gradually. In comparison, MacCallum's TriadicRelation is better accord with value system of modern society, it's a logical mode ofthinking freedom problems.
