The Research On Pattern Of Shang And Zhou Bronze Application In Furniture Design

In this paper, to study the patterns of the Shang and Zhou bronze, based on previous studies and formal rules, to discuss the pattern of Shang and Zhou bronzes' cultural content and artistic characteristics. Combination of literature research, to classify the pattern of Shang and Zhou, from the start of decorative techniques and arts features, analysis of these patterns followed in the history and evolution on the furniture. Through visits and data collection, investigate patterns of the Shang and Zhou bronzes in modern furniture design, from the "form" application, "meaning" extension and "spitit" inheritance, generalize the pattern's application mode and decorative form in the way of furniture.In addition, from the aesthetic point of view, propose to use inductive generalization, exaggeration and so on, propose the point of view to extraction and reconstruction the pattern of Shang and Zhou bronzes, so that patterns will adaptation new requirements of the times, from the perspective of formal beauty, propose the layout methods of patterns used in furniture; from the perspective of modern color, propose the color methods of patterns used in furniture; from the technology of view, propose the implement methods of patterns used in furniture; from the material point of view, propose the performance of methods of patterns on different materials.Finally, according to the foregoing discussion, analysis results to creative the design practice and certificate the point of paper's view is reasonable and possible.
