The Third Wave Feminism, the feminism theories and movements embrace various ideologies and diverse voices since 1990s on. The features of the Third Wave Feminism are represented by an intersection of feminism, postmodernism, post-colonialism and new historicism. Meantime, it also has a sustainable development while withstanding the challenge of "the death of feminism." As either a theoretical movement or a cultural politics, feminism has always been critical to reality. During its developing process, feminism has been assimilating various resources such as Marxism, Existentialism, ecology, etc. in order to renew itself all the time. The Third Wave Feminism undertakes the mission of deconstructing culture hegemony and changing the reality within the context of postmodern, and in this process, trying to find a balance between difference/alliance, tradition/avade-garde and elite/mass. The feminist literary theory, which is referred to as feminist poetics in this paper, is the most important field of the third wave feminism. However, the feminist writing, just as a "named" by poetics, is connected to feminist poetics, as well as keeping a distance with it. On main subjects what the third wave feminist poetics is mostly concerned about, for instance, demystifying the "essential myth" in order to reconstruct women self-consciousness, reorienting gender relations, performing gender identity and its subversion, confronting multi-identity and interlocked oppression within the history and reality, etc, recent women writing has embodied corresponding contemplations. Having the third wave feminism background and an individual conscience, some creative novelists such as Atwood, Morrison, Jelinek and Xu Xiaobin have examined history and reality of women in their works, and have depicted a future which is somewhat pessimistic but not so desperate. Recently, as researchers on feminism are paying more attention to mass culture and the prosperity of feminist writing in mass culture is coming, the combination of feminism and mass culture will be a possible prospect of feminism.
