This paper takes the buffoonery in theatrical works of traditional opera as the mainly research subject, which is valuable in the realm of literature and art of the Chinesenation. The traditional opera owns two fold characteristic of literature and art. This paper studies the buffoonery from four crucial points. The exordium explains the concept of the buffoonery in theatrical works and demarcates the class of the two concepts. What's more, its current status of research is also sketched in the exordium.In the first section, this paper analyses the content and form of the Yuan zaju's Buffoonery, so as to clearly express its chief feature .The origin of the buffoonery and the art forms before the traditional opera came to mature are described in the second section. In the third section, detailed analysis of the how important the buffoonery is in an opera is discussed .In the forth section, this paper tell about the influence that theatrical works of traditional opera in Ming and Qing periods is affected by Yuan zaju's Buffoonery。...
