Abstract:Based on the obstacles to Vietnamese students in learning Chinese initial consonants, this paper studies their problems in pronunciation, listening, as well as pronunciation recognition, and also proposes the corresponding solutions to them. Comparing the mother tongue with the target language on the basis of phonetical and teaching theories, it analyses Vietnamese students'learning difficulties and summarizes what are reflected by these difficulties. Specifically speaking, this paper centers on fifteen typical initial consonants, including b, p, d, t, k, z, c, s, zh, ch, sh, r, j, q and x. It first lists the obstacles to Vietnamese students in learning these fifteen consonants, then analyses the reasons for the obstacles, and finally proposes some solutions to overcome the obstacles. |
