The Analysis Of Relationship Between Tarski's Definition Of The Truth And The Theory Of Meanings

The theory of the truth was widely attended by logic and philosophy all the time. Different scholars answered this question in the different time form on all kinds of times. Based on Aristotle's Correspondence Theory of Truth, A·Tarski raised his theory of definition of truth, i.e. Truth conditions theory and developed Aristotle's Correspondence Theory. It provided benefit help for research on semantic, logic, and so on. Especially, on the basis of Tarksi's definition of truth, D·Davidson, R·Carnap deepened the explore and study for the development of the theory of meanings. In the modern, philosophy and logician mainly considered the question on the meaning of language. Finally, I try to discuss meaning of the truth on logical field and truth of the meaning on Linguistics Philosophy territory, analyze the Tarski's affection for Davidson and Carnap's development, and introduce their advantage and disadvantage generally, attempt to advance some ideas and discuss it simply.
