The theoretical issue about Truth and Meaning is very important in the philosophy of logic and language. More philosopher at home and abroad have launched extensive research on the issue in recent years. This paper from the logical point of view, has studied on Davidson's theory of meaning to perspective the logic behind their traces, detailed analysis the stuff covered in the theory of meaning really, and then explore the significance of discover true as an effective way in theoretical argument.PartⅠ:Interpretation on the origin of Davidson's theory of meaning-Tarski's theory of truth. Highlighted how to use modern logical method for accurately explaining the concept of philosophy, that has brought far-reaching implications for people to understand the truth.PartⅡ:Elaborated Davidson's theory of meaning in Philosophy. In addition to the main ideas and its characteristics, the focus is how Davidson constructed the theory of meaning in natural language through creatively using Tarski's.PartⅢ:Discussed the motivation for studying the theory of meaning. Clarify the relationship between Tarski's theory and Davidson's, show the inevitability of the latter inheriting to the former. Highlight the importance of truth for exploring the theory of meaning.PartⅣ:Clarify Davidson's theory of meaning giveing us inspiration, reveal the the close ties between the logic and meaning research, & logic and philosophy research. Reach to the conclusion that logic really played an active role for deepening people's understanding of the world.Based on the extensive collection of information and knowledge about the theoretical background, I use document analysis, analogy analysis, induction and other methods to elaborate the role of logic really from the perspective of meaning theory, summarizing the main points, and finally concluded-"True" is the effective way to explore a theory of meaning.
