Research On The Sacred Dun Huang Scripture Of The Buddhists

Buddhism was introduced during Han dynasty in China. And it reached its heyday in Tang dynasty, then gradually declined in Song and Ming dynasty. Throughout the history of Buddhism introduced into China, we could found the reason why it's succeed in landing , rooting and developing in China is its active combination with Chinese traditional culture. It ingeniously found its similarity with the Confucian culture, constantly adjusted oneself to adapt to Chinese popular mood and character, with the support of the rulers, finally became a Buddhist system that beyond the juxtaposed Confucian and Taoism in a certain period of time. Its influence not only affected every aspect of China, but also promoted a large number of Buddhist specific cultural style. Such as: Buddhist literature, music, frescoes, cave, dance, etc.Chinese traditional culture has a lot in common with Buddhist doctrines, which is the natural advantages in advocating. Moreover, Buddhist has a unique and special way and strategy to advocate. The propaganda need not only its translation and spread of Buddhism, but also made it more popular with publics. That is, it first was taught to Buddhist disciples, and then was spread through people. This activity is called teaching moral people. The draft of teaching with singing is scriptures, which adopt vulgar language and rhyming text for all people, especially for the people non-educated or low-educated. This way is easy to understand, for its smooth melody and contagious to moving the people. Textual preaching is extravagant rendering and adding figures for better publicizing effects.The paper aims to take Dunhuang posthumous papers left the scriptures as the research object, such as "changxing four years zte house feasts speak scripture should be BoLuoMi" and "king kong prajnaparamita speak scripture", "the Buddha said AMiTuo via speak wen", "the tip LianHuaJing speak scripture", "the Buddha said view maitreya bodhisattva dripping on the birth rate days scriptures", "is told by speak scripture", "parents grace re-telling of scripture, etc. we can find the development and changes of the scriptures by the analysis of these content, comparison, then go further into understanding the scriptures in which part can make public to accept the Buddhism and discuss its function and meaning in history of Chinese literary and history of Buddhist prevalence. This paper analyzes in two ways, i.e. the scriptures by speaking solution method and artistic features. We found that not only solution is multiplied, but also by the mode of diversification with the vividly rich image narrative and the magnificent parable. Speaking in form, the form of fu is used in great quantities and singing narrative description with multi-purpose seven-words' poetry makes the activities more culturally charming.Investigating its function, this paper plays a significant role in promotion of the development of speaking to BianWen scriptures , which is the source of songyuan story-telling scripts novel, and also the root of Chinese ancient vernacular Chinese novels. And it laid a solid foundation for the development of succedent popular novels in the last several generations.
