The name of custom comes from ancient times, because of political needs, the ruling classes of each dynasty are taking the custom as the powerful tool to educate people and maintain domination, and the scholars who are concerned about the country's safety are trying to through identifying and correcting custom to achieve the purpose of rectifying the custom. The "Fengsutongyi" written by Ying Shao, although it has not reformed the society to be away from the evil, the account of custom written in this book gives a valuable spiritual and cultural wealth for future generations. This paper is for the purpose of discussing some important custom of the Han Dynasty recorded in "Fengsutongyi".Divided into three parts:The first chapter,the research is about Ying Shao and "Fengsutongyi". This part describes the events about Ying Shao's life and the situation in last year of Eastern Han Dynasty of his life. Ying Shao is a member of Runan Ying Family, he received formal education from an early age and the influence of traditional Confucianism, so that established his concept of maintaining the feudal ruling class. Because of the social situation which contained social unrest and common people have no way of making a living in last year of Eastern Han Dynasty, he thought that the advocating of identifying and correcting custom has a great significance for rectifying the society.The second chapter, "Fengsutongyi" mainly involves the custom classification of Han Dynasty. Because the "Fengsutongyi" involves too much custom, this paper mainly chooses the aspects of wedding custom, status of women custom, birth prohibition, laba custom, New Year's Day custom, deity-worship custom, ghost-worship custom, fashion apparel custom, custom of ethnic minority costume etc to analyze specifically their records of custom's expression in the Han Dynasty and in the previous dynasty.Chapter three, the literature value, literary value and historical value of custom information in "Fengsutongyi" because its custom records are miscellaneous and extensive, the content includes is not only the matters of what he had experienced and heard, and many articles quote the custom of Han Dynasty recounted in ancient books, its allusive record also plays an important role in revising and annotating the ancient books. "Fengsutongyi" has certain influence to the later literary works, and it inherits the ideological culture of the Han Dynasty."Fengsutongyi" is the important historical material for the later people to research the custom of Han Dynasty, which plays an indispensable role in the spread of custom culture.
