Function of art is a matter of life and nature of art. Presently Functions of art is divergent, but there is a common approach, that is taken Function of art of complicated, diversified and individualized, this caused people to lose knowledge and understanding of function of art, further lead works of art to fish pass off the fish eyes as pearls.Art germinated its unique aesthetic function. In the later development of the long history, various social forces began to use art as their own services, gradually formed"Awareness, education, aesthetic"three features side by side. After reform and opening up, west Modermism and Postmodermism influxed, location of artistic function were confused, art lost its functions. By historic combing and Reflection about our country's location of artistic function, reveals function of art is right and no from the practical level. Interpretate the contents and important value of the Confucian Humanism, the aim is to provide a philosophical or rational basis. The value of Confucian Humanism is consistent with the western classical humanism and the moment People-oriented that is the core of the scientific development concept. This study took Confucian Humanism as theoretical basis of artistic runction in particular,that is an attempt of art combined traditional culture. At last this study in the guidance of Confucian Humanism, determined the function of art, stressed that art should be people-oriented.Art should be committed to human services that is to show and expect people excellent qualities.
