The Pre-qin Confucian People-oriented Thoughts And It’s Modern Steering

The pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts is the result of historical experience and political practice, and it constitutes the ideological foundation of ancient Chinese political stability and social development.In this paper,we research the traditional people-based thought systematically under the guidance of historical materialism. We mainly adopt the literature study method, comparative study method, inductive deductive method and history method, and other research methods.The research on the pre-Qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts is divided into four research areas.The first part is to define the connotation of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts.On the basic of the research of the concept of "people" and "basis", we define the connotation of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts. Moreover, we analysis of the Concepts of the "people-oriented" and the "king-oriented", "people-oriented" and "democracy".The second part mainly expounds the historical development of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts and their representatives. By studying the development process from germination to maturity of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts, we can understand the concept of it better. The representative of the pre-qin Confucianism are Confucius who is the founder of the Confucian people-oriented thoughts, mencius who is the completers of the Confucian people-oriented thoughts, xunzi who is the controversial person of the Confucian people-oriented thoughts. The third part mainly analyzes the historical rationality of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts and modern controversy about its value. Review the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts, and analysis its value systematically. The fourth part is to explore the plight of the modern steering of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts and path selection. Go into the modern dilemma of the pre-Qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts, it is mainly embodied in three aspects:with a strong level of color; the coexist of the "people-oriented" and "king-oriented"; the shortage of legal basis.So, how to implement the change of the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts? In terms of the construction of political civilization, on the one hand, we should learn the experience and reasonable values from Western political construction. On the other hand, we should also look for the re-foundation from traditional Chinese culture and history,and draw reasonable elements of traditional culture to better reflect its unique value in the historical process of contemporary Chinese society.In the development of modern political civilization, the pre-qin Confucian people-oriented thoughts should be re-examined as the mainstream ideology of China for thousands of years. Confucian political values can be better integrated into the construction of modern political civilization, and in line with trends and developments in the contemporary era, which has some practical significance for criticism of the privileged and the official standard.
