The Judgment of Learning is an important form of metacognitive monitoring. The purpose of studying the judgment of Learning is to reveal the individual's level of understanding for the learning and memory effects. On this basis, it can enhance the individual's ability of control over the activities of learning and memory. And provide a theoretical basis for carrying out more effective human learning. Anchoring effect is a phenomenon that the presentation of initial figures affects the individual latter judgment It commonly appears in the decision of individual and affects the individual's judgment accuracy. As a kind of metacognitive decision making, Judgment of Learning is also affected by the anchoring effect. The aim of this study is to verify the existence of the anchoring effect in the judgment of Learning and try to introduce a warning system, to intervene the anchoring effect in the process of the learning and judgment of the subject. and to some extent, reduce the influence of the anchoring effect on the learning and judgment of the subject, therefore enhancing the absolute accuracy of the judgment of Learning.This study includes two experiments:In the first experiment, there are 80 freshmen subjects. Through the manipulation of the magnitude of the anchor and the way of providing the anchor, it demonstrates that anchoring effect affect subject's judgment of Learning (JOL)In the second experiment, there are 80 freshmen subjects. Forewarning was used in the Experiment 2 to explore the intervention role of forewarning on the subjects' judgments of Learning and the improvement of the redction or getting rid of anchoring effect on the absolute accuracy of subjects'JOL.The conclusions drawn from this study are as follows:(1) There exists the anchoring effect in the course of immediate JOL. In other word:high anchor generates high JOL value while low anchor generates low JOL value. (2) The experimenter-provided anchors can cause the significant deviation level. (3) Forewarning have an effect on subject's judgments of Learning. The accuracy in high (low) anchor group dose not have significant difference. (4) PA value of the forewarning group is significantly lower than the PA value of the unforewarning group. Subjects' absolute accuracy of the forewarning group is significantly higher than the unforewarning group.In conclusion, there exists the anchoring effect in the course of immediate JOL. Forewarning can intervene the immediate JOL when anchor value is experimenter-provided, and it also can improve subject's absolute accuracy...
