The Study Of Cultural Relics Involving Taiwan In Longhai City Of Fujian

Taiwan-related cultural relics, as the important historical and cultural carriers, have witnessed the changes in the cross-strait history and culture. There are over 1,000 thousand cultural relics related to Taiwan in Fujian Province. In terms of the existing form, the Taiwan-related cultural relics can be divided into immovable cultural relics including ancient architectures, ancient sites, ancient tombs, ancient stone inscriptions and memorial buildings, and movable cultural relics such as genealogy tracing the lineages and history of families, historical documents and ancient books. In terms of the connotation of Taiwan-related cultural relics, they can be divided into several categories such as geography-related relics, blood-related relics, culture-related relics, business-related relics and nomology-related relics.Longhai City has shared a long and deep historical origin with Taiwan, which has left an indelible mark through cultural relics on people in the mainland and Taiwan. It can be traced in different aspects of different historical periods covering geography, economy, culture, politics, military affairs and race.This paper makes a relatively elaberate and profound survey and analysis of the Taiwan-related cultural relics in Longhai City, based on such research approaches as field study, oral interview and referring to some relative historical documents. This paper focuses on the profound study of some typical Taiwan-related cultural relics. Since the development of history cannot be changed, it seems more precious to enable people from both sides to appreciate the blood ties and nostalgia embodied in the Taiwan-related cultural relics.Taiwan-related cultural relics sustain and deliver the historical memory, emotions, experience and wisdom of people on both sides. They are the foundation for the cross-strait cultural identity. The protection, excavation, exhibition and promotion of the rich connotations of these Taiwan-related cultural relics will enhance the mutural understanding and kindred affection between people in the mainland and Taiwan, strengthen the cross-strait cultural exchange and cooperation and promote the peaceful reunification of the motherland.
