On the lower reaches of Minjiang River in Fujian, Min'an is a town of a thousand years, strong historical and cultural atmosphere within, rich heritage. the provincial, municipal, district levels cultural relics protection units to a total of nine,2007 was named "provincial historical and cultural village" and 2010 was selected fifth installment of "Chinese history and culture village". Min'an ancient cultural can be divided into six categories:ancient dwellings, military sites, religious buildings, ancient tombs, bridges, carved stone. These historical heritages of Min'an record aspects of information, such as social, historical, cultural, military, customs and so on, has high research value. Min'an villagers, the local government and overseas all have made important contribution to the protection of cultural relics, many of the ancient architecture and ancient ruins have been repaired or reconstructed in accordance with the original. But the conservation of heritage in Min'an is still facing very serious problems, such unreasonable alterations, reconstruction, etc, and needed to address urgently. In the course of study heritage of Min'an, we necessary to properly handle the relation between protection and development, insist on the principle of the protection first and reasonable development, achieve the target of win-win between protection and development, to explore a path of sustainable development.
