Investigation And Study On Cultural Heritage Of Hekou Ancient Town In Lanzhou

The ancient town of Hekou,located in Lanzhou,Gansu Province,is a national traditional village and also a provincial National Register of Historically and Culturally Significant Towns of China.The advantageous natural and geographical conditions of Hekou ancient town gave birth to the unique regional culture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the northwest China,and gave birth to the cultural heritage of diversity.The material and intangible cultural heritage that remain today bear witness to the history and culture of the estuary,as well as an important carrier for the study of the characteristics of the local culture of the estuary.The protection of Hekou cultural heritage began in 2008,and it.has made some great achievements,but there are also many problems and challenges,and there are some gaps compared with Lanzhou Qingcheng town and Liancheng town.Therefore,it has great academic and practical significance to systematically investigate,sort out and study the cultural heritage of Hekou ancient town.According to the documents and local records,the heritage of the ancient town is rich.At present,there are only 40 ancient houses,ancestral halls,traditional commercial storefronts and post stations,but there is no systematic research and study on other historical sites,historic buildings,historical relics,special folk customs and handicrafts.In this paper,four key villages of Hekou village,Xianshui village,Bapan village and Datan village in Hekou ancient town have been investigated and visited,and the existing material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage of Hekou ancient town have been systematized,the information of their present situation and scale was recorded separately,which will provide the data and basis for the protection and utilization of ancient towns in the future.On the basis of systematical analysis,in order to understand this paper studies the relationship between the Hekou's cultural heritage and the society in the historical vicissitude,in order to understand the heritage value of the ancient town more deeply.The Material Cultural Heritage reflects the social foundation,the residents' life and belief,and the influence of consanguinity on the village structure through the form of town,like the cultural relic building and the family ancestral hall.Through the development of folk culture,folk sacrifice activities and small handicraft industry,theintangible cultural heritage embodies the characteristics of the Hekou regional culture,the mode of production of the Hekou villagers,the diversity of folk beliefs and the essence of local humanities.From the angle of culture and geography,this paper reveals the regional characteristics of Hekou cultural heritage,and tries to make some innovations on the basis of previous studies on villages and folk houses.According to the analysis and research,it is found that under the specific historical,geographical and cultural background,the ancient town of Hekou is not only representative in geographical location,traffic conditions and village construction,but itin the history of culture,residential settlement,intangible cultural heritage also has a more distinct regional characteristics.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the family name culture,Silk Road Culture and the culture along the Yellow River with the characteristics of the HeKou in the future protection and utilization,it is helpful to explore the economic and tourism development of ancient town in the future.
