Transcripts from Franz Liszt have made a large quantity, with which other composers couldn't compare. Among these works, those who are from opera periods show the best representation. These transcripts not only kept the original musical parts of the opera, but also changed into varieties of forms, which made the operas more understanding on their musical language, and also showed the unique personality of Liszt.The times of which Liszt lived were full of the influence by operas and their changing elements. The operatic education made a large impact on Liszt himself. He used to be contacting different composers of opera at that time. At the Middle of the 19th century, Liszt made the operas closer to audience and showed a lot of piano skills in his transcripts to meet the requirements of some of the audience at his time.This paper is based on the transcripts by Franz Liszt of three piece: Quartet in the 4th scene" Bella figlia dell'amore" in Veridi's <Rigoletto>, "Faust Waltz" in the end of the 2nd scene of Gounod's <Faust>, and final aria "Liebestod" in Wagner's<Tristan und Isolde>, it talks about the usage of piano language, hard skills for decorating his works, analyze of transferring the original pieces instrumentally. It also discusses how to hold the style of Liszts' transcripsts and to understand the unique language of music of the great composer while playing his pieces.
