We can see images of his mother and daughter at his symbolic paintings. We also can see his thoughts and love for the family. Maybe this is emotional factors, in his subconsciousness, that made him paint lots of paintings in female subjects. This paper focuses on the visual arts of these paintings to grasp the practical significance and spiritual values of LinFengMian's painting.In this paper, the writer uses LinFengMian's concept that is combining Chinese and Western painting together as a starting to study the origin, evolution, characteristics of transition period of Lin's paintings. And then study the visual means and spiritual insights of Lin's lady paintings. According to the above, the scope of this study is determined. Specifically, the first chapter and the second chapter begin to explain the origin of LinFengMian's beauty paintings with the comparing of western concepts and Chinese concepts. Then through its evolution-stage painting, artistic mind in the selection, from traditional to modern art of transformation and transition,we can see the art development track of the LinFengMian. The writer thinks that we can empathize the art of LinFengMian only by exploring LinFengMian's art history gradually and the relevant historical background factors, and then we can have our own real feelings. The third chapter analyse the main features of LinFengMian's grand paintings further, especially the visual means that were brought to viewers. The fourth chapter will discuss deeply in spiritual insights, and reveal the artistic value of LinFengMian's lady paintings and the modern enlightenment of Chinese figure painting.Finally, the author will do a summary of the artistic achievement of LinFengMian's lady paintings and its historical contributions: 1, LinFengMian in painting techniques, views and modern western art combining Chinese classical ideology; 2, The "heavy variety" spirit art language is different from traditional ink; 3, Its expression means, composition, image show the unique aspects of the picture form sense.Although lady painting is a relatively few painting subject, the artistic achievements and contributions it made to Chinese ink painting can be compared with any famous artist in the art history.
