In the Dong Jin Dynasty, the monks were begin to write poems. That was affected by the social background and the sinicization of Buddhism . From the Dong Jin Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty, both the quantity and the quality of the monk-poetry have achieved great development. Scholars always focus on the individual research, comparative research , and periodical division. It has not got the level of synthetic study.Summarize experience from Zhi Dun's poetry and Wang Fanzhi's poetry, concluding the evolutionary history of the monk-poem during the period. Take Zhi Dun's poetry for example, this thesis analyzes the whole monk poems of Dong Jin Dynasty. Through the monk's poetry in the early Tang , the author approach the monk's poetry how affected and changed by the poet's literature training, style of writing, and the Buddhism diffusion.Basing on the monk's poetry from the Dong Jin Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty, this thesis emphatically discussed the reasons from the life background, regional culture , the purpose of writing poems, Buddhist thinking ,etc. That caused the monk's poetry has different style.
