Research On Mongolian Folktales Of XiLinGol

This dissertation has classified the XiLinGol Mongolian folktales by the research method of story types and analyzed and explained particularly about its variations and characteristics.The thesis is mainly consists of two parts as the story type research on XiLinGol Mongolian folktales. The story type research on XiLinGol Mongolian folktales is the focal point of the whole dissertation, made up of the introduction, the text and the conclusion. In the section of introduction, the research achievement, the methods made use of and the meaning of this research etc. have been set forth. In chapter one, from the oral and written aspects, study the status of the spread of the XilinGol Mongolian folktales. After our fieldwork has been found, XilinGol Mongolian folktales already facing a crisis. In chapter two, the XilinGol Mongolian folktales are analyzed systematically and classified into two types as the worldwide story type, national story type. And the characteristics of these story types are discussed also. In chapter three, two of the most representative story types are analyzed by types and the characteristics of the development and evolution of the story types are brought to light. The last chapter, draw a conclusion of the whole dissertation.The type index of XilinGol Mongolian folktales is to analyze and catalog the XilinGol Mongolian folktales on the basis of the XilinGol Mongolian folktales collection published and that gathered by the author by AT classification method. During the specific analysis, the folktales are classified apart into folktales that can be put into AT classification system and that can't, so as to bring the XilinGol Mongolian folktales into the AT classification system for worldwide comparative study.
