The article choose five tango musical compositions of Piazzolla, who is an Argentine composer,for study. His tango music possesses unique innovations which based on classical music with an comprehensive system. Piazzolla promoted tango music to a high degree artistic music that could be showed on stage from a popular accompaniment music of dance through creatively mixing the compositional style of classical music and jazz music. In order to highlight his unique style features of tango music, the article analyses and studies melody, harmony, colour, rhythm, artistry and thoughtful of his five representative works which is" Oblivion "," Libertango "," Angel", "Ave Maria", " Adios Nonino"The article is divided into three parts. The first part including chapter one and chapter two introduces the origin of tango and the overview of all Piazzolla's creation. The second part including chapter three and chapter four analyses and studies form, harmony, polyphony, rhythm and melody of Piazzolla's five tango music. The third part summarizes his influence to Argentina and the world by researching Piazzolla's new tango music.
