| The coexistence phenomenon is pervasive in Guangxi, and the common characteristics caused by inner linguistic development and mutual influences are rather representative. Through objective investigation and detailed description, this essay will restore the phonetic situation of Wuxu Ping dialect which would also be regarded as the basic research point. Then this essay will continue to broaden the research scale by bringing relevant languages and dialects(Ping dialects, Yue dialects and Zhuang dialects) in perimeter zone(most restricted in southwestern Guangxi) into research scale, and summarize important phonetic common characteristics from consonant, vowel and tone. In research methods, historical layers and present common characteristics are combined to contribute to elaborations.This paper can be divided into five parts which are foreword, general situations on geography, history and linguistics in Wuxu Town, phonetic study on Wuxu Ping dialect, contrastive study on phonetic common characteristics in vertain area, phonetic data. The fourth chapter is to summarize important phonetic common characteristics from consonant, vowel and tone by bringing relevant languages and dialects(Ping dialects, Yue dialects and Zhuang dialects) in perimeter zone(most restricted in southwestern Guangxi) into research scale. |
