Zou Hao was not only a faithful counselor to the king in late Northern Song Dynasty, but also a Neo-Confucianist of profound learning. He used to be very loyal, upright and strict, who was accomplished in both academic reaseach and literary writing. Although Zou Hao's political career was not smooth, he persisted in the ambition. As a result, he was admired and respected by the people at that time and later generations. But Zou Hao has been ignored in the academic world. The present research mainly focuses on his discourse of poetics and making friends, lacking in systemic study of his poems. More research can be expanded in cultural inheritance of Dao Xiang Collection of all carving copys, incontinuous identification of its editions as well as checking and annotation of his poems. The author of the thesis mainly carries out research on Zou Hao from the following two aspects. The first is the preface, which involves the cause of his thought, features of his poems, works and changes of different editions, with the aim of giving the readers clear and true information. The second is about checking and annotation, which is based on the carving copy of Dao Xiang Collection in Chenghua Period, Ming Dynasty.
