But so far we haven't had a precedent for Boccaro Teapot models research.Research on form with the scientific method and mathematical thinking aims to break through the limitations of aesthetic awareness and thinking space created by traditional aesthetic theory, to understand and reflect the harmony of artistic creation with reason, to open up a new perspective for the art forms and provide a valid way for its heritage and development. Therefore, this subject summarizes valid and scientific conclusions based on a large number of statistical analysis, revealing the mathematical characteristics and curve features hidden behind the materialized forms of traditional Boccaro Teapots, and then reflects the scientific laws and inner harmony. To be specific, the study mainly contains two parts: on the one hand, it focuses on the induction and analysis of various components to show as fully as possible the colorful shapes, to find out and inherit the form trends in modeling design; and on the other hand, through a large number of scientific statistics and curve analysis it explores the mathematical characteristics and curve features to guide teapot innovative design as the specifications and methods.The research on the form characteristics of about 400 samples indicates that the height, width, the angle as well as the distance of the handle and spout have a certain size range, and there were mostly small teapots through all the history. In addition, quantitative analysis of the curves and design practice indicate that Yixing traditional Boccaro Teapots have a certain geometric characteristic. The modeling design could make through a combination or interception of geometrical figures matching with different accessories. It not only helps display the standardization, scientization and diversification of Boccaro Teapots, but also has positive significance for the modeling design of modern appliance.
