On Relations Between The New Socialism Villages Building And The Filial Piety Culture Spreading

The filial piety culture is a base on which the ethnic system in the Chinese civilization development history has been established. As one of the most important contributes to the human society development by ancient Chinese agricultural civilization, it still has widespreading, basic and contemporary values in the present information era. The filial piety culture in the new rural villages in China, is a base on which the ethnic system with Chinese character is established, and not only has inherited the traditional Chinese filial piety culture, but also is characterized with the present era and various regions. With the promotion of the new raral villages construction, the economy of these areas has undertaken great changes. The new value outlook and moral outlook have produced great shocks to the traditional culture. They have implanted new connotation and new explanation to the filial piety culture on one hand. On the other hand, they make people forget the filial piety culture. So they have both positive and negtive influences. At present, the advanced socialism culture construction is being promoted in China. The fine tradtional culture of our nations is the elements and power to build a harmonious socialism society. On basis of inheritance, we should discard the dross and select the essence from the the traditional Chinese filial piety culture with dialectical and historic viewpoints to meet the requirements of the society, and widespread and develop the essence of the filial piety culture. Standing high and meeting the requirements of the era, we should do our best to recognize the relations between the new socialism villages building and the filial piety culture spreading, promote the new socialism villages building actively and steadily, develop the advanced socialism culture, create our nations' spirit, and promote the Chinese culture to the world.This paper contains six chapters. In Chapter Ⅰ, by making a dialectical analysis of the traditional Chinese filial piety culture from many historic archives, the author finds the relations between the traditional Chinese filial piety culture and the agricultural society, and comes to a recognition that the rural filial piety culture should be used under the principle of making the past serve the present, inheritance and creativity, selecting the essence, and discarding the dross; In Chapter Ⅱ, with the background of the present society and in combination with the existing issues, the author analyzes the necessity to spread the filial piety culture, approves its suitability and applicability in the present era, and points out that it's very urgent to spread the filial piety culture both from families and the society.; In Chapter Ⅲ, focusing on the rural villages, the author analyzes some inharmonious happenings in the rural villages like conflicts between fathers and sons, conflicts between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law and not supporting parents, and summarizes the present status and features of the filial piety culture in rural villages; In Chapter Ⅳ, as to the above issues of less focus on ethics and morality in some rural villages, the author discusses in depth the relations between the new socialism villages building and the filial piety culture spreading. In Chapter Ⅴ, the author brings forward his viewpoints and suggestions about the form and approaches to the filial piety culture construction in the new rural villages, including launching the filial piety culture education, setting up a long-run filial piety&moral administration mechanism, bringing into full play the public opinion, and strengthening the management by law means. In Chapter Ⅵ, the author makes clear and summerizes the basic forms which the filial piety culture should take.
