Imagery is the important traditional theory, it is still popular in the contemporary period..Doing the research on the theory of imagery is helpful to the understanding and using about the imagery.The philosophy derived from SengZhao not only became the beginning of the Buddhism but also the ending of metaphysics."Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual" which is SengZhao Philosophical Methodology is the development of the theory of "obtain spirit and ignor figures" of Metaphysis of Wei and Jin Dynasty. Theory of "Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual"has the potential influence on the presence of the imagery theory. We try to research how the SengZhao philosophy have the influence on the imagery theory from the Metaphysis sides. As a writers of literary theroy Liu xie had researched on Buddhism for a long time, there is no doubt that his thoughts of relationship of Literary and Moral is influenced by Buddhism. Liu Xie mentioned imagery in the field of literary and aesthetic at first, and developed the theory of imagery. This paper foucs on researching how the SengZhao philosophy have the influence on the imagery theory of Lie XieThis paper is composed of four chapters, there is a short description in the first chapter and the fourth chapter, more detail description is in the second chapter and the third chapter. The firt part is the introduction. It is the general description of the achievements of the contemporary imagery theory, also it mentions the shortage of the imagery theory. It points out the necessary of writing this paper, the behavior of imagery of the literary writings and the theroy preparation for the imagery before the imagery presents as the concept of literary and aesthetics, researches on the meaning and definition of imagery, mainly lists the imagery entries of the aesthetics dictionary, and image the research object of this paper---the meaning and definition of imagery.The second part analyze the influence on the theory of imagery by the SengZhao philosophy. This paper describes the methodology "Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual" of SengZhao philosophy, it has the idea that the methodology "Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual"has the influence on the imagery from three aspects:firstly, the methodology "Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual" make the imagery present as a whole, imagery is no longer the metaphysics philosophy "obtain spirit and ignor figures", but the spirit is the figures, the figures is the spirit. The sprint and figures in the theory "obtain spirit and ignor figures" is the relationship of hows and whys, the Material apperance of things and the vainity in the theory "Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual" has no definition which is hows and which is whys, they are a whole; secondly, the theory of "the prajna is ignoranf"has the influence on the intuitionistic presence of imagery theory, the character of theory "the prajna is wisdom"in the SengZhao philosophy is that "the prajna can be wisdom since the ignorance; the prajna is wisdom since the no-ignorance", no-ignorance and ignorance are combined together, imagery make itself as the expression form which is different from the previous, it leads to the imagery creation theory that the poetry expression of scenery is the expression of emotion; thirdly, the theory "Material appearance of things and the vainity are non-dual" proves that the dynamic and static are a whole, the time and space are a whole, it then has the conlcusion that the finity and the infinity are a whole, which is the meaning that the Material appearance of things is the eternal presentness significance, thereby it makes the imagery general but special. The third part researches the theoretical influence on the LiuXie's imagery theory by the SengZhao philosophy from two aspects. The first aspect is the literature articles. LiuXie is directly influenced by SengYou, Seng You's Buddhism paper "Hongming theory" has the description to affirm the prajna theory, additionally, when SengYou set up large prajna lection store in Shangding temple, LiuXie help him to arrange and assort them, so there is no doubt that LiuXie has read and study the prajna theory. Jiu Moluoshen is the translator who translate the prajna correctly, his student SengZhao is the first chinese people who talk about the large prajna-theory, LiuXie's Buddhism is definitely influenced. LiuXie is a hard-study man, he spent time on the Buddhism theory for the pursue of literature. The other aspect is his theory of relationship of literary and moral. LiuXie accept and statement the universality of Moral, and write the article to affirm that the prajna theory is more brilliant. His theory of Relationship of Literary and Moral is different from the theory that the literary is used for moral or the literary and moral is the same level."Original moral" clearly statements that the literary is the moral and the moral is the literary, the literary is the metaphysics meaning of moral. It is the theoretics fundation for LiuXie's imagery theory, the significance of LiuXie's imagery theory is that affirming the value of modality technique by affirming the metaphysics meaning. In addition, the imagery theory summarizes the relationship of word, spirit, figures during the literature creation from the Wei and Jin dynasty, it points out that both the rhythm form and imagery creation have the same importance, the using of rhythm form needs the pursue of the advanced technique, that is to say the imagery creation. At the end of this part it describes WangChangling's imagery theory and that there is no substantial development. Though the imagery theory is widely used, it can not say that imagery theory is mature in Ming dynasty. The meaning of imagery is defined by LiuXie. LiuXie think that the imagery creation must be the expression of emotion is the expression of scenery, Wang Fuzhi in Qing dynasty also has the same point.The fourth part is the concluding remarks, it describes the meaning and value of the research in this paper, which is researching the theoretical value of the imagery from its theoretical value in the contemporary period. In addition, imagery is the successfu case the the traditional literary theory is developed in the the comtemporary period, it has the reference significance for the people who want to focus on researching this.This paper refers to two themes, one is the history situation of SengZao philosophy, the other is the history process of imagery. In fact the theoretical meaning of imagery is the real theme, analyzing the SengZhao philosophy and LiuXie's thoughts of relationship of literary and moral is used to serve the theoretical influent of imagery. So actually the problem that there are two themes is no longer exist.
