The Study Of The Poetry Of Xie Zhuang

Xie Zhuang is one of the icons in XIE's family in Liu Song period of Northern and southern dynasties. The research on him can well show the literary phenomenon in the middle of Liu Song period in Northern and Southern dynasties, and disclose the intrinsic change of literature during that time.This paper uses a dynamic and relative attitude to treat Xie Zhuang's works and makes researches on his poems, rhythmical proses and verses.The first chapter summarizes the recent research on Xie Zhuang, including two parts. The first part makes a comment on Xie Zhuang's life, family and works, mainly introduces the collected collations and every type of writings, to try to find a main point as the research direction of this paper. The second part relates to the meaning in the research on Xie Zhuang and the way of thinking in the research.The second chapter makes a research on Xie Zhuang's poems, also including two parts. The first part makes a research on the contents of Xie Zhuang's landscape reclusion poems, to compare Xie Zhuang's landscape poems with those of Xie Ling-yun and Xie Tiao, to show his connecting link Xie Ling-yun, and show his elegant achievements. At the same time ,It makes research contributions of the poetry of Shan-shui The second part makes a research on the form of Xie Zhuang's winding verses, especially on characters and influences.The third chapter makes a research on Xie Zhuang's rhythmical proses. As the matured representatives in rhythmical prose, they are influenced by the poems and parallel proses at that time, to show a new look and be the original of rhyme proses. In this respect, Xie Zhuang made a greater contribution. This chapter also includes two parts. The first part, poetic rhythmical proses, researches on form, word and artistic conception of the rhythmical proses; the second part, parallel rhythmical proses, introduces from four or six words style and original of rhyme prose.The fourth chapter makes a research on Xie Zhuang'sverses, also including two parts. The first part, funeral eulogies, are good at expressing sadness and tracing to the source. In comparison with those of Pan Yue, Xie Zhuang made great achievement on carrying forward and renovation to generate great influence. The second part gives an outline of Xie Zhuang's verse style.The conclusion sums up the full paper to point out Xie Zhuang's overall characters and contributions.
