A large number of studies show that, academic procrastination will not only lead tolow academic achievement, and often cause high anxiety, low self-esteem and othernegative emotions, physical and mental health of students have a negative impact on. Asa result of academic procrastination behaviors in students' groups in the presence ofextensive and the negative effects, therefore on academic procrastination research getsmore and more domestic and foreign education and psychology experts concerned.The research on the college students' academic procrastination in the past at homeand abroad on the basis of the status quo, with Pang Weiguo and Han Guining for"College Students' learning procrastination questionnaire" in4Chongqing universitieswere investigated, in the analysis of the current situation and its influencing factorspredicting effect after discussion, try to use the group counseling related to technology,to produce a set of attempts to improve achievement motivation and generalself-efficacy to improve academic procrastination of group psychological counseling,and through experimental study confirmed the group counseling program effectiveness.Overall, this study obtained the following conclusions:(1) Chongqing city college students academic procrastination is prevalent, fromscores of all dimensions, autonomous learning scores were the highest, lowest scoringinstructions to finish the homework, students study consciousness is very low, the willis the most protracted, can guarantee the basic homework.(2) Students in the academic procrastination level there is no sex difference, but thecompletion of the work on significant difference (P <0.05), and the boys' academic procrastinationlevel is significantly higher than female; and in the pro forma review, autonomous learning, affect,alter intention dimensions do not exist significant differences (P>0.05).(3) Different professional levels have no significant difference in AcademicProcrastination of College students. (4) Different grades of Academic Procrastination of college students, autonomouslearning, the overall level of influence and change will not exist difference, but in thereview of the notes, homework dimensions have significant differences on the. OnAcademic Procrastination of various dimensions, the first grade students of the secondgrade, the third grade, the fourth grade students more without delay, and the secondgrade, the third grade, the fourth grade students between the delay level does not existsignificant differences.(5) General self-efficacy on academic procrastination has significant negativepredictive value, achievement motivation to have certain prediction; generalself-efficacy and achievement motivation of two variables affect each other, and thesame degree.(6) Group counseling can improve the Undergraduates' academic procrastination,not only in the presence of the instant effect of guidance, and the effect of continuousguidance.(7) Members of the experimental group on academic procrastination behaviorchange is mainly reflected in three aspects: cognitive, members of the self can holdpositive evaluation; in attitudes, member of enhanced self-efficacy; in behavior,member of academic procrastination has improved.(8) Group counseling on improving low self-efficacy of members of therapeuticfactors in group counseling: atmosphere and skills, group members of mutual aid andempowerment, as well as a member of the self-efficacy of trigger. Among them,causing members of the motivation and general self-efficacy promotion is themechanism in group counseling.
