| Horse Head String Instrument is a unique Mongolian ethnic instrument which has played a pivotal role in Mongolian culture and even the world culture, and has become a symbol in Mongolian people. horse head string instrument accumulated a large number of works of different styles in the course of history, and the "Poeme of the Grassland" created by Xin Huguang perfectly blended Mongolian original ecological music with the symphony which is a western musical form.This work had a broad impact on music creation. This work applied Mongolian civil tone has improved the level of Instrument performance and Playing style which has made its own contribution to the proliferation of Horse Head String Instrument around the world.Further, in terms of the researching on the Horse Head String Instrument, Many scholars focus on the origins, performance, music scores, playing techniques and styles of musical instruments generally, but there is little literature relevant to theoretical study on Horse Head String Instrument. This paper is proposed to analyze the music in detail by collecting the information and materials, based on previous research and summarize the Concerto's creative features and historical significance.The reason why choosing this subject to study, is mainly because of this work's representation and significance."Poeme of the Grassland" created by Xin Huguang, is the first Horse Head String Instrument Concerto in China. This work is based on National folk music material in the Inner Mongolia region. By adaptation by the author, Not only the melody of national characteristics in Inner Mongolia and western music creation techniques is combined, but also the excellent characteristics of the national instrument of Horse Head String Instrument is highlighted. This work opens up a new world for the Horse Head String Instrument.Based on the purpose and content of the research object, in this paper, composing technical viewpoint on the ontology of folk music tone poem of the "Poeme of the Grassland" is studied. comprehensive analysis of works in musical form, musical themes, harmonies and orchestration, and composition techniques to further explore the concept of the national work of creation are finished by accessing to literature, and using the inductive method and morphological studies approach.The full text is divided into four parts, consisting of the introduction and three chapters. The introduction introduces the reason of this research, dances and music of the status, select the value and significance of the proposition of the paper.First chapter analyzed musical structure, the first part of the overall structure and secondary structure of the music,a detailed study. Musical structure analysis at the same time, also described structure, the main characteristic of music and creative practices. The second part focuses on themes melody, including the sources and motives, melodic characteristics and development practices.The second chapter, known as the "Analysis of creation techniques", focused on two aspects:harmony and orchestration. The first part of this chapter-the harmony of the application, first an overview of the full-tune the layout, the whole song is a variety of harmony practices to analyze fully the performance of the national character of the music and sound creation. The second part from musical structure presents the transverse and longitudinal music level point of view, the orchestration of the characteristics and the characteristics of a concerto analysis of orchestration techniques.The third chapter is the creation features and historical significance. The first part will propose the musical form of songs, theme, melody, harmony, orchestration, creative approach.
