This paper describes and analyzes the tone sandhi of two-syllable, three-syllable and multi-syllable words in lanmu Zhuang language.Firstly the paper defines the property of the tone sandhi in lanmu Zhuang language, and points out that the tone sandhi is the phonetic change in flow of speech, and is also a certain grammatical structural phonetic form. The paper divides the tone sandhi into two types:the phonetic sandhi and grammatical sandhi, which could be divided into several sub-groups.The phonetic sandhi includes two types:the simplification of falling-rising tone and the simplification of rising tone and the falling tone. The grammatical sandhi also consists of two subgroups:the sandhi restricted by grammatical units and the sandhi restricted by grammatical structures and functions.The paper focuses on the tone sandhi in two-syllable words, for the three-syllable tone sandhi and multi-syllable sandhi follow the tone sandhi rules of the two-syllable words.In the part of two-syllable tone sandhi, the author analyzes the features of tone sandhi, and explores its relationship with grammar, and its functions and influence. In the part of three-syllable tone sandhi, the author introduces the special and ordinary three-syllable tone sandhi. In the part of multi-syllable tone sandhi, the author introduces the ordinary tone sandhi and the division of different syllables and comes to the conclusion that the multi-syllable tone sandhi is the result of the one-syllable, two-syllable, and three-syllable tone sandhi.
