Nowadays, with the high development of economy and drastic changes of the society, juvenile delinquency has already become a serious social problem bothering all countries in the world.The author of this paper investigated the individualized education of the juvenile offenders by intervention experiment.This paper mainly consists of three parts:1) Elaboration and exploration the related theoriesIt elaborates individualized educational philosophy which is based on individualized and integrated development, the theory of multiple intelligences and subjectivity education. It also investigates the contents and features of the theories, providing basis for the experiment.2)The experiment of individualized education in the rectification of juvenile offendersThe characteristics of the juvenile offenders are analyzed through Essen grams personality questionnaire and a self-designed questionnaire. The problem in the rectification of the juvenile offenders is located through investigating the root and motivation of crime, personality and characteristics, physiology and psychology development, self-control etc. The individualized education is implemented by one-to-one courses of traditional culture, music, art and handicraft. The conclusion is made by interviewing with the juvenile offenders and analyzing the effects in the experiment.3) The application of individualized education in the rectification of juvenile offendersAccording to the process and effects of individualized education, the fundamental principles and suggestions for the application of individualized education in the rectification are proposed.The rectification process of juvenile offenders is rather complicated. It is found that the application of individualized education has yielded good results, which can improve their education and should be promoted.
