Research On The Citizens' Political Participation During The Period Of Social Transition In Our Country

At present, China is in the process of the social transformation into modern strong socialist society. Since Reformation and Opening, citizens pay more and more attention in their own interests,who hope that they can transfer their own thoughts and opinions to the government. Their rights consciousness, legal consciousness, democratic participation also advanced.Meanwhile, with political system reform, China has made significant progress in the politics participation of the citizens above the original basis. But there are also problems, Which are: the coexistence of high participation rate and low participation quality, the frequent occurrence of abnormal political participation , the widespread indifference to political participation. This paper thinks, there are various reason for this: traditional political culture suppressed citizens'politics participation, some concrete system of political participation is not strong enough and perfect,the path of political participation are less and blocked, the diversity of the participation group and the competition among them ,some leaders lacked the idea of supporting citizens'political participation. The aim of writing the paper is to study the essence of citizen's political participation during the period of the social transformation, and to seek a way for citizens'politics participation which accords with Chinas actual conditions, to guide the next practice.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction; The second part is the basic theory of citizen's political participation, which unscramble and analyze the essence and characteristic of citizen's political participation;The third part is the status and existing problems of citizen's political participation , which analyse the present situation of the citizens'political participation and the cause that influence our country's political participation; The fourth part is the countermeasures d of speeding up citizen's political participation, which include four aspects: changing the traditional thinking and establishing the modern democratic concept of political participation, promoting the reform of political system actively, widening the channels of citizen political participation, and using the experience of other countries for reference.
