"China Model"

China has carried out the reform and opening-up policy for more than 30 years. During these years, "China Model" has become a focus of both domestic and foreign scholars, and it has been profoundly thought and studied by many scholars. As the participants and beneficiaries, we have rich and real experiences of the development of China in recent years. Therefore, it is our responsibility to well study and explain "China Model". Based on the achievements of Chinese and overseas researchers, this thesis deeply studies "China Model", stating that "China Model", of which essence is the socialist development pattern with Chinese characteristics, is a model that explores through what ways we should build socialism with Chinese characteristics under the specific national situation of China, and also a model generalizes and summaries the experiences of China's reform and opening-up over 30 years.In this paper, the author first proves the objectivity of the existence of the China Model by analyzing researches done at home and abroad, and further analyzes the similarities and differences between two concepts—China Model and Beijing Consensus—to explain the author's understanding on the China Model. Then, according to the fundamental principles of Marxism, the author generalizes and concludes the achievements that have been made in the fields of economy, politics, culture, and society etc. since China's reform and opening-up, among which the author draws the specific features of the economy, politics, culture, and society in the process of China's development through the abstract analysis. Finally, on the ground of the current practices, the author reaches a conclusion that the China Model is facing a crucial development opportunity as well as many chances and challenges, to which we need to actively face.The thesis tries to use the method of unifying history and logic, comparative research and social analysis, through the "China model" the process of formation, especially through the analysis of innovative practice in China's reform and opening up economic, political, cultural and social development, and many other successful experience, summed up the "China model" of economic, political, cultural, and social characteristics of specific areas for further comprehensive understanding of the "China model", summed up the "China model" of development experience has a very important theoretical and practical significance.
