Contemporary law set up a lot of important to protect this special group, in fact, the system already existed in the ancient society of China. It came from mercying the old men and children of the western zhou dynasty, through the development of qinhan,three kingdoms, and the northern and southern dynasties, to the relatively perfect rules of dissicussion of the Tang Dynasty Law, experienced a long process of development. It played a very significant role on the stability and development of ancient society.In the western zhou dynasty, the law used remiting the immatures to protect the children. In the qin dynasty, the ruler used height as the basis on judging adults, providing privilege to the unmatures; And in the han dynasty and later dynasties, the measures for the protection of minors developed gradually. In the tang dynasty, the rulers used age ladders to distinguish the minors,to make the scope of the minors clear and scientific. The Discussion of the law of tang dynasty had unique places on protecting minors, they are unobsolete today, even can be used to make our law system more epidemic in the current of The Times.The Discussion of The Law of Tang Dynasty is the most important treasures of The Chinese civilization, it has a lot of places for us to cvilize. we can take example of them when we amend and modify today's Criminal law. Especially on protecting the minors, it is advanced when competed with other dynasties. Research shows that The Discussion of the law of tang dynasty is the first corpus juris to protect the minors systemicly. So I make effort to cvilize the advantages and disadvantages of it, to find some places which can be assimilated and Mirrored.
