Though with small area, Palestine is an important transportation junction between the east and the west. Conflicts and disputes have never been ended since the ancient times. Both the Hebrew and Arab who used to live here for a long time claim the ownership of this land, which results in the conflict and struggle. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not only the interest conflict between different races, but represents religious conflict and the influence of international powers. It is the pernicious consequences of colonial domination of the imperialism countries. It is the core problems in the Middle East and boils down to the ownership of Palestine. The situation has become more and more complicated during the evolution of the conflict in the history. For a long time, the conflict has brought catastrophic results for both races. Five Middle East wars caused more than 20000 deaths on both sides and 2 million Arabs became homeless. Endless bloodied skirmishes make people realize that war and bloodshed solves no problem but stokes up the hatred between both sides and further extends the turbulent situation in the Middle East. From historical perspective, though the resolution of this conflict remains bumpy and no fair and reasonable solution will be available in recent years, the future is still hopeful.
