Mr. Chang Yi is one of the earliest jurist of China's Civil Procedural Law and a well-known civil procedural law scholar. He also was a professor and tutor of doctor of law department at Southwest University of Political Science and Law. Since 1956, Mr. Chang had researched into law and work hard on educational field, his field of research is very wide, such as the basic theory of civil procedural law and evidence system and enforcement system and so on.As one of the earliest jurist of China's Civil Procedural Law,many of his academic thoughts has made a major contribution towards the promulgation of the China's Civil Procedural Law (1982) and China's Civil Procedural Law (1991), and now his legal thoughts continue to influence the revision of the China's Civil Procedural Law.In this article, the author tries to sort out the main academic thought about Mr. Chang Yi since the 50 years 20th century, on this basis and analyzes the unique nature of academic thought,and summarizes his main legal theory contribution.In final adoptes Chinese Social Science Citation database,and combining with excellent CNKI doctoral dissertation database citations, to analysis the other scholars to quote and introduce his theories in their theories and though,and summarize the effect of his academic though on civil procedural theoretical and civil procedural practical. And by summarizing the doctoral and master's academic achievements to show Mr. Chang made great contributions to education.
