Jürgen Habermas is a philosopher and social theorist also one of the representatives of the western Marxism. He was born in Germany which known as a rational country, and grown up in a conservative middle-class family, was deeply influenced by the European continent rationalistic tradition, whereas went through the WWII and Judgment at Nuremberg in the boyhood. As the first generation of German clerisy which grown up after WWII, he was striving to reestablish the paradigm foundation of the social animadvert theory and the enlightenment ideals of modernity, bringing forward a series of criterion theory of"Communicative Paradigm"which in consists of two ideological system"Public Sphere"and"Communicative Reason", borrowing the negotiation principal of communicative reason and assumption of ideal communicative situation, base on the public sphere as the system platform, taking the citizen society as organization power, in order to renew the legalization of the democratic politics and rationalization of the existent world.Taking the academic concept of multi-culture conform communication which promoted by Habermas, putted Thailand which undergoing with the modern social transformation under the view of modernity theory by Habermas, observing and comparing the social reality in Thailand by applying the thought about western modernity paradigm of him. During the recent years the political circumstance of Thailand has become the focus of the world. The"yellow shirt army"and"red shirt army"process with the anti-government parade campaign in turns, each political power realize their aim in the way of street violence, which make it a normal status and lead Thailand into endless political reforms, the social life is also seriously disturbed by the armed rebellion, violence conflict and regime alternate. Since then the politics of Thailand has got into a vicious circle of disorderly govern, making hard steps on the way of transforming from the traditional society to the modern society. According to the life experience and social observed discover by author for two years, the deep course behind the political predicament that the country face on is due to the long time absence of the public sphere, reason failure and constantly happen of validity crisis etc.Analyzing and comparing these modernity phenomenons of their performance in Thailand state situation and culture tradition, and also their internal connection with Thailand street politics, we can intensify our understanding and research of the social political development of Thailand.Especially in the times of globalization and information, the Internet has broken the fortress between western and eastern world, beyond the borders between nations, opening a brand new view of Habermas's"Communicative Paradigm"theory, and also offering a media and opportunity to reestablish Habermas's"unfinished modernity program"base on multi-cultural background. The core change to the traditional society by cyber public sphere is to change the communicative paradigm of people, fully release the subjectivity of people in the modern social life. Despite Habermas's"Communicative paradigm"theory is too utopian to the demonstration experience in Thailand and also with limitations in the aspects of the Thai social development circumstance and culture identity.Nevertheless Habermas's social animadvert spirit is worth to use for reference and learn.Applying Habermas's"Communicative Paradigm"theory to guide the growing and developing of Cyber public sphere in Thailand. It will make positive model effect to the social modern transformation in Thailand.
