A Study On The Cultivation Of Honor Values Of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers

Based upon the requirement of cultivating the Core Values of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers and the task of performing the military mission in new age, the paper systematically explores several issues of the cultivation of Honor Values of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers. Firstly, the paper expounds the historical origins of the Honor Values of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers by means of introducing the honor values of western countries and ancient China. Then, according to the theory correlated with the Marxist Honor Values and the reality of the socialism with Chinese characteristics today, the paper states the theoretical and practical basis of shaping the Honor Values of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers, and suggests five elements of it in accordance with the features of soldiers and army. Thirdly, the paper points out the importance and problems during the cultivating procedure in the light of reality. Finally, in view of the actual situation, by making use of the theory correlated with the Marxist Honor and general and specific policies of the Party Central Committee, the paper provides some target-oriented countermeasures of the cultivation of Honor Values of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers, including the cultivation principles, cultivation system and cultivation methods.
