The Traditional Cultural Resources Of The Core Values Of Contemporary Revolutionary Soldiers

The core values of contemporary revolutionary soldiers is a very important landmark in our army's military construction history. It makes a lot of sense in strengthening army ideological and political construction, and promoting armyman's responsibility and mission awareness. Chinese traditional culture, as the spirits inheritance of Chinese nation, is the fertile cultural soil for the development of the core values. Thus, it is of great practical significance to research and explore the traditional culture sources in order to foster the core values of contemporary soldiers.With a huge system and rich content, Chinese traditional culture has a profound and far-reaching impact on the Chinese nation. It is explored and combed out from the aspects of culture and value respectively in the thesis and then its value structure is analyzed and the cultural background of the core values is identified. The traditional Chinese culture has very rich resources, and among them, the virtues of loyalty, loving the people, contributing to the motherland, mission and honor are closely related to the core values of contemporary revolutionary soldiers. Especially, the moral codes of Chinese traditional martial arts play an active role in the value regulations of the soldiers. The thesis mainly explores and analyzes these resources that are closely related to the core values. Due to the reason that the main body of Chinese traditional culture is featured by slave and feudal times culture, thus it has obvious time and class character which becomes the historical limitations of Chinese traditional culture. Therefore, dross should be discarded and then essential can be selected and refined from the perspective of Marxism's standpoint and method, so that the core values of contemporary revolutionary soldiers can be properly served. The thesis also makes some detailed researches and analyses accordingly.
