Mao Zedong Thought is an important result of the first theoretical leap of Marxism in China. The collective ideology of Mao Zedong, as an important component of Mao Zedong Thought, is also an important achievement of Marxism in China. Based on the history process analysis of the collective ideology of Mao Zedong, this article points out that it is the selection of collective ideology of Marx and Engels, the criticism and inheritance of Chinese traditional collective ideology, and the review of Chinese revolution and construction experience. Through the history process study of the collective ideology of Mao Zedong , this article also points out that it is the inheritance and development of the collective ideology of Marx and Engels.This article through to the summary of Marx and Engels collectivism thoughts and the analysis of the collective ideology of Mao Zedong, points out relevant background and theoretical characteristics of Marx and Engels collectivism thoughts , and social and historical conditions and the main content of the collective ideology of Mao Zedong . Finally, comparing Marx and Engels collectivism thoughts and the collective ideology of Mao Zedong, the paper points out that the collective ideology of Mao Zedong is the inheritance of Marx and Engels collectivism thoughts : the importance of the collective understanding of the proletarian revolution, emphasis on the importance of collectivism, emphasis individual and collective under the principle of collectivism. The paper also points out that the collective ideology of Mao Zedong is the development of Marx and Engels collectivism thoughts : to combine Marx and Engels collectivism thoughts and Chinese traditional synergy thinking, to enrich collective ideology of Marx and Engels in the specific process of building China's revolutionary struggle and the content of specific theories.
