Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping Democratic Political Thought Comparative Study

Building socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics is an important part of the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. As the core of the central leading group, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping are all pay great attention to the construction of the country's democratic political system in their respective historical periods. And according to Chinese specific national conditions, they formed their own democratic political thought, inherited and developed the Marxist theory of democracy. As an important part of Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, the democratic political thought of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping establish the theoretical foundation for chinese democratic politics.Since the founding, building of democratic politics in China have been twists and turns, but generally speaking, the development of Chinese democratic politics towards a healthy direction. Especially, since the reform and opening up, building of democratic politics in China has made remarkable achievements. On the one hand reflected in the steady state for political system reform; on the other hand reflected in the people's demand for rational politics are get rising. These achievements, inseparable from the guidance to chinese democratic political practice by the democratic political thought of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping. Especially in the new period of socialist development, construction of socialist democratic politics, consolidation of the socialist political system, is a major theoretical and practical issues which is need to be further solved for our party and the country, therefore, comparative study of democratic political thought of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, has far-reaching historical and practical significance for the further development of our democratic political system of socialist countries. This article consists of three parts:the introduction, the main body and the conclusion:The introduction mainly explains the significance of choosing the topic, introduces the present research status and the mainly research way of the dissertation.The main body of this article is composed of four parts. Part one, systematically expounded the main content of democratic political thought of Mao Zedong, including the people's democratic dictatorship of the state system theory, people's congress system of political theory, theory of democratic centralism and the importance thought of democracy within the party.Part two, systematically expounded the main content of democratic political thought of Deng Xiaoping, mainly including the relationship between democracy and the socialist, the judgment of political reform, the important thought of the institutionalization of democracy and rule of law.Part three, from the perspective of historical materialism, make a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences of democratic political thought of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, it positively promote us to make a correct understanding of marxist conception of democracy and the realization of socialist democratic politics.Part four, expouded the significance of studing the democratic political thought of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping by make a comparative analysis of democratic political thought of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping. Morever, from the definition of democracy and two dimensions of democracy, I try my best to study the path of our country's democratic politics.The conclusion mainly explains the main content and the significance of this dissertation. At the same time, illustrates the limited research space in my studying process.
