Silence behavior in coal mine would seriously weaken the organization's ability of self-examination, lay hidden danger, and impact on organizational performance seriously. Taking frontline coal miners as study subject, the thesis conducted a survey by interviews and questionnaires. Based on exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, it discussed the structure of coal miners'silence behavior. Construct the structure model of miners'responsibility, leadership style, organizational support and silence behavior, and the structure model of miners'silence behavior and mine accidents by SEM. The main conclusions are as follows:⑴Formulate miners silence behavior scale, which includes types of acquiescence, defense, disgust, reliance and non-subjective silence. It is an effective measurement tool, as its reliability and validity reached the psychometric demands.⑵Construct the structure model of miners responsibility, leadership style, organizational support and silence behavior. Responsibility, leadership style and organizational support have direct significant negative effect on miners silence behavior,and leadership style has the largest effect. The intermediary effect of psychological safety is larger than organizational trust. In addition, the demographic variables of length of service, education and job level have subjective effects on non-subjective silence.⑶Construct the structure model of miners silence behavior and mine accidents. All of the dimensions of miners'silence behavior have significant positive effect on non-personal safety accident. Non-subjective silence has a significant positive effect on personal safety accident.⑷Propose the miners silence behavior management measure,such as achieving the concept resonance of community of interest, improving communication, fostering trust sense, strengthening balanced leadership style, establishing reasonable suggestion system and the non-system training of hazard identification.
