On The Legal Protection Of Goodwill

Goodwill what market subjects have is not only an important part of the intangible assets but also a part of the special civil subject right. It is necessary to protect goodwill in economic aspect as well as in legal. This thesis mainly studies the protection in law of goodwill. Based on the introduction of the concept of goodwill, the brief discussion of it's features and value, the contents and legal nature of the goodwill rights, and the evaluation of the goodwill protection ways in Anglo-American law system, in the continental law system and in the international law, this thesis summarizes the infringement act, the constitute of responsibility and the contradiction contents. Revelant suggestions and advice are put forward aiming at the defects of our countries goodwill protection.
